Fans of the new Rob Zombie’s Halloween may be in for a new treat when
the director returns to the genre with Halloween 2 with many of the cast of
his their first encounter with the masked killer. But didn’t Myers die in the
last film? Just goes to show you even in this new retelling of the classic
Carpenter film you can’t stop the masked man. Fans of the author and film
maker Clive Barker will be happy to know that the authors series Books of
Blood will soon be a film staring Barker’s old pall Doug Bradley (Pinhead).
A follow up to the movie Cabin Fever is coming in September about a skin
eating sickness that slowly kills its victims. A new 3-D Final Destination
movie is coming this summer. Think of how cool the kills will be in 3-D for
this one. And talk about new up coming 3-D films get this......the 80s film
Piranha is getting a 3-D remake. Should me wild.
Blood Moon Rising staff writer Eric S. Brown has a new novel out with a
new twist on a classic story. War of The Worlds now has zombies as
Brown retells the classic tale and adding his trademark creature. Best
known for his novels The Queen and Season of Rot and his work on Blood
Moon Rising, Brown brings the story we all know a new terror in the form
of the walking dead. War of The Worlds Plus Blood Guts & Zombies will be
in bookstores as you read this issue of BMR. Be sure to check it out.
I have been talking about this movie for a year now and its at last coming
to a theater near you! The Wolf Man hunts again this up coming
November. The long.......long awaited remake looks really good from what
I saw so far and the new beast really is a tip of the hat to the classic
monster that made his debut in 1941. We at BMR can’t wait for this one to
come out.
