| AL Vermette - Publisher / Writer The Demonic Lord AL J. Vermette is the founder of Sapphire Publications which opened in 1999. Since then he has created and released the horror magazines Blood Moon Rising, The Horror Writer and Werewolf Magazine. He is the author of the books Lycanthrope: Nature of The Beast, They Hunt By Night and the fantasy series Lucan: Heart of The Warrior and Lucan: Serpents Rein. His newest novel Dark Soul Rising from Publish America is his first novel outside his Sapphire universe and his first straight up thriller. Vermette's work can also be found in the print magazines Happy Halloween Magazine, The Hacker's Source, Tales From The Still Beating Heart, The Horror Fiction Review, and Hybrid Moments. His writings can also be found on the web sites Werewolfcafe.com and Werewolfpage.com. He is also the creator of the Halloween Horror Rock Show Blood Fest and the Institute of Horror, Fantasy & Science Fiction, both held at the Queens Flushing Library to date. Along with his teaching publication The Horror Writer Vermette runs a series of class rooms for writing and publishing in and out of the horror genre. Along with writing, AL J. Vermette also dabbles in film making and would love to turn his book They Hunt By Night into a feature film along with his Lucan series. |

| D.W. Jones - Editor / Writer D.W. Jones has lived in Queens, NY all his life. During the day, he works in a law firm as a supervisor. Growing up, he was never a big fan of horror movies, but one day realized that he enjoyed the thrill and excitement of horror movies. In early 2000, he was approached to join a new upcoming horror magazine. This began his career as a short story horror writer for BMR. Since then, he done interviews, articles and host Bloody Book Reviews for BMR, The Horror Writer and Werewolf Magazine. In addition to that he has published his first short story collection Dark Corners of the Mind through Sapphire Publications in 2006. Recently he has accepted his new role as webmaster for the BMR Magazine website. He continues to write and looks forward to publishing his first novel sometime in the near future. |

| Dark Soul - Writer Dark Soul has become Blood Moon Rising's mascot over the years with his long black coat and skull mask. He is said to be the grand son of no other then Jack The Ripper. He has lived in the U.S. most of his life. He started with Blood Moon RIsing since its start in 2000. He hosts the BMR Horror Rock Party Blood Fest and is our horror convention field agent. Dark Soul is BMRs movie reviewer and sees BMR ruling the world in the years ahead. |

| William H. Pratt - Editor / Writer William H. Pratt has been with Sapphire Publications since the beginning and has written for Blood Moon Rising from issue #1 in June 2000. William who comes from Louisville KY where he met our publisher AL J. Vermette. He has moved around over the years and now lives in CT with his wife Mary and two kids. William has worked his way up from staff writer to co-editor to editor of BMR, The Horror Writer and Werewolf Magazine. He hopes to be a part of the Sapphire Family until the end of time. |

| Robert Freese - Writer Robert first appeared in the pages of Blood Moon Rising in issue #12 with the short story "The Feeding". Since that time, Robert Freese has had more than 100 short stories published in various print and electronic publications. His first novel, Bijou of the Dead, will be re-released in October 2010 from Stone Garden Publishing. With paranormal investigator Paul Cagle he co-wrote Paranormal Journeys, which will also see release from Stone Garden Publishing in October 2010. Currently, his short sci-fi horror tale The Santa Thing and his short story collection Shivers are available on Amazon.com. He was nominated for a 2009 Rondo Award for his interview with actress Dee Wallace, which appeared in The Phantom of the Movies' Videoscope Magazine. | Sandy Reece - Artist I've been drawing all my life. I started out copying Marvel Comics on brown paper bags and even making little tattoos on my Barbie dolls. Then I Moved up to the El Marko graphitti on my school desks. Of course this became my obsession now. It was time to start sending things out. BMR was the first to publish my art. I love doing the horror art. I can work with airbrush, oilsand pastels or pretty much anything. I'm currently working on my Turbo Bich Comics. It's about the horrors of working retail. | Andrew Davis - Intern Andrew is the newest member of the BMR staff. As a big fan of the magazine and the website, he begged and pleaded to do something for the magazine. So we decided to give him a shot. He lives in a small town in upstate NY with his dog, Butch. |



| Danny Jones - Intern Danny has been a behind the scenes assistant to the Sapphire Publications and Blood Moon Rising Magazine. Being taught in the dark side in life, he has helped in many BMR events and has contributed to the magazine with videos, articles and even enhanced our logo through his interest in computer. Let's just hope he doesn't go too far. |
| Rose Titus - Writer Rose Titus works two jobs to support her writing habit. She exists somewhere in a suburb in cold, dreary New England, with three pain in the arse cats and a very out of date Macintosh. She also has a restored classic Buick that gets her to the grocery store. Her work has previously appeared in Lost Worlds, Lynx Eye, Bog Gob, Mausoleum, Midnight Times, Blood Moon Rising, The Bugle, Weird Terrain, Descend, and Wicked Wheels. |

| Kraven: The She-Wolf Born in the 1970's Kraven, a werewolf of family descent is one of the staff writers of the Blood Moon Rising's, spin-off Werewolf Magazine, and now joins BMR since Issue #47. Her articles in BMR called Terror Tube feature horror on the small screen of television. As her name implies Kraven, a skinwaker, is able to shape-shift at will but only does so when she is feeling the need to run or attacked. She lives in Louisville Kentucky with her two cubs and husband Brice. |
