Blood Notes

By AL J. Vermette

Well although the summer is upon us we, here at Blood Moon Rising are already looking toward the Halloween season. Why you may ask? Well because not since the start of the COVID 19 pandemic have we had a live Blood Fest Halloween show. The last live Blood Fest show was back in 2019…..you know before the world all went to shit. Since then, in 2020 we had a Blood Fest Watch Party on Facebook and planned on doing that again for 2021, but Facebook ended that future so there was no Blood Fest of any kind from us in 2021. But now that things are a little more relaxed with the pandemic, we are now able to return to our yearly Halloween live shows.

Since the location we have used since 2008 is no longer an option, we have found a new venue to host Blood Fest 2022 in and we are very excited to say that we are returning to our Blood Fest roots by doing a night show as we did nearly 20 years ago with Blood Fest 1. The new location for Blood Fest 2022 will be The Keystone Stage, 125 Lackawanna Ave, Olyphant PA 18447 on October 22, from 8 pm until midnight….the witching hour. Featuring so far in the lineup are the rock bands Coventry Carols and Running in Flip Flops plus haunted tunnel and a few surprises we are working on that we will let you in on with the next issue of Blood Moon Rising. Tickets can be ordered online for $15 right on the venue's website at www.TheKeyStoneStage.com or $17 at the door on the night of the event.

We hope many of our Blood Moon Rising fans can join us for this wonderful new show and we are looking forward to meeting you all there.
